Here at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery we offer two annual memorial planting days where family and friends can join our staff and volunteers as we honor the memory of those buried here and restore the cemetery by planting "Living Memorials": one in the meadow in the fall and the other in the woods in the spring.

We will email the plant availability list to responsibility parties so they may reserve their desired native species in advance. Our Native Plant Program is a donation based program. If you would like to make a donation there is a suggested contribution of $35-100 per plant. If you are unable to make it on this scheduled day, our staff are happy to plant on your behalf.

Please Note:
On this day we will only plant species appropriate for the meadow and grassland areas of the cemetery. We will have another Memorial Planting Day for the woods portion of the cemetery Spring ‘26.
