With each flower that blooms I am reminded of you
Reaching up to the skies open hearted to the sun
A sweet landing place for busy bugs offering comfort and rest
Each season the land renews and your spirit lives on
I see you in the trees like the dangling moss waving hello in a light breeze
Or the flap of a butterfly’s wing
Moments pass into years gone by
I sit by your side at peace knowing death is never last
With each flower that blooms you visit me here, too
Until we meet again
